Made four tackles, broke up a pass and returned a 44-yard punt return for a touchdown in the 45-3 win over Minnesota Crookston.
Team
- UIU improved to 12-3 against the NSIC North over the last four seasons including nine straight victories in cross-division games
- Quarterback Dimitri Morales threw for one touchdown and ran for two more
- UIU scored two touchdowns on special teams, a Jordan Rommes point block, scoop and score and a Tate Thompson 44-yard punt return for a TD
- Freshman running back Ryan Parmely scored a touchdown on his first collegiate carry
- Senior linebacker Alex Wahl led the defense, who held UMC to -3 yards rushing, with 9 tackles
- Upper Iowa will face the Bulldogs of Minnesota Duluth on the road this Saturday night at 6:05 p.m.
