Winkler averaged 14 points and 5 rebounds per game as the team split a pair of NSIC cross-division games
Shot 50% (14-28) from the field while adding 2 assists and 2 steals
Upper Iowa claimed a win on Saturday with a 74-56 win over Bemdiji State after falling to Minnesota Crookston 79-59 on Friday
Friday’s loss was the result of the Golden Eagles dominant second half that turned a one-point lead at half into a twenty-point win
On Saturday, the victory by the Peacocks kept them a game ahead SMSU in the standings and was the result of balanced scoring and aggressive defense
Four Peacocks reached double figures on Saturday including Lauren Buck, who recorded her 13^th double-double, Lindsay Carroll, Olivia Meier and Olivia Winkler
UIU will be on the road for their next four NSIC games. This weekend the Peacocks will travel to Minnesota Duluth and St. Cloud State
