Biography

Briggs was a runner-up as a junior in the Minnesota State AAA Wrestling Championships at 182 pounds. He was a Cadet All- American and was a member of the Minnesota National Team in 2010 and 2011. St. Michael-Albertville has become one of the perennial powers in Class AAA wrestling in Minnesota with three straight runner-up finishes and a fourth-place finish prior to that run.

Ricky is the son of Joel and Jennifer Briggs and will study sports medicine at Upper Iowa.
