Jordan Roths is in his second season of his second stint as a part of the Peacocks' wrestling coaching staff. Roths returned to Fayette and Upper Iowa after two seasons as an assistant wrestling coach at Indian Hills Community College in Centerville, Iowa. Roths was a part of the UIU wrestling coaching staff for three seasons (2017-20) after spending his undergraduate years in a Peacock singlet.
During his time at Indian Hills, Roths helped to lead the Warrior wrestling program, which did not exist prior to the 2020-21 season, to a pair of eighth-place finishes at NJCAA Championships. The Warriors boasted five top-eight place winners in each of the two Championships. This past March, Indian Hills claimed a second-place and third-place spot on the individual weight class podiums.
Roths began his coaching career at Upper Iowa where he helped lead the Peacocks to a fourth-place finish at the 2018 NCAA DII Championships. In his three seasons on staff at UIU, he helped coach 10 All-Americans.
The former 141-pounder posted 91 wins for Upper Iowa and was anchored in the Peacock starting lineup for four straight years. Roths qualified for the NCAA Division II National Championships in 2014 as a redshirt freshman and in 2017 as a redshirt senior. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in exercise and sports studies from Upper Iowa in 2017.
