Biography

2019: Myles Brand All-Academic with Distinction Award winner… played in all 30 games… tallied 221 digs (2.05/set)… added 14 assists and 10 aces… recorded 10 games with double-digit digs including a season-high 15 against Minnesota Duluth on Nov. 15. 

2018: All-NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence… Butch Raymond Scholarship recipient… played in all 29 matches and 104 sets… finished second on the team with 335 digs (3.22/set)… registered 19 games with double figure digs… earned NSIC Defensive Player of the Week honors on Sept. 4 following an impressive 5.71 digs/set weekend performance… recorded a season-high 25 digs against Quincy on Sept. 1… added 45 assists and 14 aces.

2017: All-NSIC All-Academic Team… Saw action in 30 games and 104 sets… recorded 239 digs (2.3/set) with 11 double-digit games… had a season-high 20 digs against St. Cloud State on Oct. 13… tallied 16 assists, 12 aces, and a pair of kills.

2016: Played in 29 matches including 95 sets as a defensive specialist... recorded 204 digs for an average of 2.15 per set... finished with a reception percentage of .926... registered 17 assists and 4 aces.

High School: Holmes wrapped up her prep career in volleyball for the Bulldogs as a four-time­ All-North Central Conference performer... earned first team honors this season following three straight nods to the second team... the two-time captain was also named All-Area following all four of her seasons and found her name on the Class 3A Iowa All-State Honorable Mention list for 2015... recorded 531 digs, an average of 5.3/set, as the team's libero and added 47 aces... over her four seasons with Algona, she racked up 1,940 digs (4.8/set) with 205 aces... member of the National Honor Society and the Student Senate, while holding a spot on the A-Honor Roll. 
 
Personal: Born November 28, 1997... daughter of Todd and Jennifer Holmes... biology (pre-med) major.
