Biography

2019: Garnered the program’s first AVCA All-American recognition… became the first Peacock to earn All-Central Region honors… named to All-NSIC First Team and NSIC Championships All-Tournament Team… earned the NSIC Elite 18 Award for volleyball… Myles Brand All-Academic with Distinction Award winner… played in all 30 games… finished first on the team, second in the conference and seventh in all of NCAA Division II with 4.30 kills per set… posted a .309 hitting percentage with just 84 errors in 1245 attempts… tallied 469 kills, 506.5 points, 124 digs, 41 total blocks (3 solo), 15 aces, and five assists… set the individual season program records for kills, kills per set, attack attempts, and points… became the fifth Peacock to reach 1,000 career kills on Sept. 14. 

2018: All-NSIC First Team… earned the Willis R. Kelly Scholar-Athlete Award for being the NSIC’s top female student-athlete… received the Butch Raymond Scholarship… All-NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence… played in all 29 matches and 104 sets… led the team with 404 kills (3.88/set), the third highest season total and fourth highest average since UIU’s move to NCAA Division II… hit .257 with only 89 errors in 1225 attempts… had 25 matches with double figure kills including 12 games with 15 or more… added 123 digs (1.18/set), 35 blocks, 11 aces, and eight assists.

2017: All-NSIC Second Team… All-NSIC All-Academic Team… recorded a team-high 345 kills, averaging 3.19 kills per set… hit .249 with only 64 errors in 1129 attempts… hit double figure kills on 19 occasions… registered 141 digs (1.31/set), 52 blocks, 21 aces, and 13 assists.

2016: Played in 25 matches and 77 sets as a freshman outside hitter... tallied 131 kills, for an average of .170 per set... hit .175 in 487 total swings... tallied 5 assists, 8 service aces, 59 digs, and 20 blocks.

High School: Winter led Mayo to a quarterfinal appearance in the Minnesota Class 3A State Tournament and earned Minnesota Class 3A All-State honorable mention honors... knocked down 400 kills bringing her career total to 1,415 during her time with the Spartans... added 168 digs (481 career), 29 aces and 25 solo blocks... named the KTTC Athlete of the Week in both volleyball and basketball and even earned the AVCA's Player of the Week honors in volleyball... named to the Minnesota All-State Tournament Team in 2013 for her play in one of the three state tournaments Mayo competed in... made it to the Minnesota State Tournament twice with the Mayo basketball team... named to the All-Conference Team three times in volleyball and twice in basketball... had a perfect 4.0 grade point average and was a member of the National Honor Society and the Spanish National Honor Society.
