Haley Chitwood joined the Peacock women's soccer coaching staff as a graduate assistant in the summer of 2024. During her first season, Chitwood helped the Peacocks improve to 4-8-4 on the year, while going 4-7-3 in the GLVC.
Prior to joining the Peacocks, Chitwood began her collegiate playing career at the division one level with UNLV in 2018. She joined Las Positas Community College for her redshirt freshman season, where she was named the Freshman of the Year while also being awarded All-Conference 1st Team honors. Chitwood finished the season with three goals and recorded a team-high 12 assists. Prior to the 2020 season, she transferred to Ottawa University of Arizona, and would score six goals with nine assists over her four year career with the Spirit. Chitwood garnered All-Conference 1st Team honors in 2022 and 2023 and was named to the NCCAA All American 1st Team in 2023.
A native of Fremont, California, Chitwood graduated from Ottawa University of Arizona with a Bachelors of arts in psychology degree in 2023. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in psychology.
