Biography

2020: All-NSIC Academic Team of Excellence… played in 14 games with 13 starts prior to the season being suspended… batted .353 with 12 hits including two of extra-base variety… scored on four occasions… drove in three runs… slugged .471 and posted an on-base percentage of .371… registered five multiple hit games… went 1-2 in stolen base attempts.

2019: Played in 36 games with 19 starts… hit .305 for the season with 18 hits… drove in two runs and scored 17 times… slugged .305 and tallied an on-base percentage of .349… went 6-7 in stolen bases.

Junior College: Named to the 2018 All-Region second team as an outfielder... earned Academic All-Region first team honor twice... selected for NJCAA All-Academic third team.

High School: Earned All-Conference honors twice at Ballard; once to the honorable mention team and once to the second team... Named to Honor Roll four times.

Personal: Born on Oct. 27, 1997... daughter of Ryan and DeeAnn Newell... business management major.
