Amanda Bradberry entered her sixth season as the head coach in 2018-19 after being promoted from the program's assistant coach after the 2013 campaign.
Bradberry helped lead the Peacock softball program to a school-record 41 wins in 2016, including a 21-7 mark in the Northern Sun Conference. Bradberry led UIU to their first ever NSIC Tournament Championship, qualifying for the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history as well. Upper Iowa made history, winning a pair of games in Arkansas.
Prior to Upper Iowa, Bradberry spent two years as an assistant coach for the Muskingum University softball program. Bradberry is a graduate of Iowa State University and has a wealth of playing and coaching experience.
A four-year member of the Cyclone softball team, Bradberry collected numerous awards and accolades for her performance both on and off the field. She was named a Division I Academic All-American in 2009 and 2010 and was awarded First Team Academic All-Big XII three times. Bradberry was selected to the Big XII All-Tournament team in 2009, as well as the Miken Dome All-Tournament team in 2008. She was recognized as an Iowa State Scholar-Athlete in 2008, 2009 and 2010.
Bradberry earned her bachelor's degree in elementary education from Iowa State in 2010, and her master's degree in adult education from Muskingum in 2012.
