Patrick Hill joined Upper Iowa’s football coaching staff in the fall of 2020 as an assistant coach working with the defensive line. Hill came to Fayette after serving for one year as an assistant coach with the University of Central Oklahoma.
Prior to his stint with the Broncho football squad, Hill spent a season at Angelo State University. With the Rams, he coached the National Defensive Player of the Year, Harlon Hill finalist, consensus All-American, and now NFL player, Markus Jones.
Hill had a quick stop at Eastern Michigan University for the spring of 2018 following a two-year stint as the defensive line coach at Morehead State (2016-17). He started his coaching career at Concordia University Chicago in 2008 and coached there until 2012. Hill helped Concordia-Chicago win a NATHC Championship in 2011. He also helped Adrian College to the 2012 MIAAC Championship with other stops at Concordia University Ann Arbor, West Virginia State University, Ferrum College and James Madison University.
Hill earned both his undergraduate (2010) and graduate (2011) degrees from Concordia-Chicago. His Bachelor's degree is in sports management and sociology and his Master's degree is in sports leadership.
