Markhus Taylor joined the Peacock football coaching staff in the summer of 2024 as an assistant and wide receivers coach. During his first season, Taylor played a key role in Upper Iowa improving to 7-4 on the year while going 6-2 in the GLVC.
Prior to UIU, Taylor worked as a cornerbacks coach for the University of Sioux Falls in 2023 and a running backs coach for the University of Dubuque in 2022.
During his collegiate playing career, Taylor spent three seasons as a starting cornerback for Dubuque, where he earned his bachelor's degree in health science and master's degree in business administration.
