Earnest Tucker came to the Upper Iowa University football staff as an assistant coach prior to the 2022 fall season. He will focus his time and energy on the Peacock’s defensive backs after gaining similar collegiate coaching experience at Central State University (2020-22).
Prior to college coaching, he held several different high school coaching jobs. Tucker was previously responsible for coaching running backs and defensive backs, organizing breakdown film sessions and training athletes in the area of strength and conditioning.
Alongside his coaching experience, Tucker played four years of varsity football at Lincoln University (2000-04) as a running back. He held the position of special teams captain.
Tucker graduated from Lincoln University with a Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.
