Upper Iowa University Athletics

Brian Frana began his duties as offensive coordinator at Upper Iowa in March 2009. He joined the Peacock coaching staff after serving as offensive oordinator/offensive line coach at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri. Frana spent two seasons at Lindenwood where he was part of a coaching staff that led two national playoff teams to a combined record of 21-4. The Lindenwood offense averaged 38 points and over 400 yards of total offense per game during his tenure as offensive coordinator. Prior to Lindenwood, Frana was a graduate assistant offensive line coach at St. Cloud State University from 2003-2005. Before his time at St. Cloud, he spent two seasons as the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach at Waldorf College in Forest City, Iowa. Frana was a two-time all-region selection at offensive line at Waldorf College in 1996-1997. After receiving his A.A., he was a two-year (1998-1999) starter on the offensive line at Eastern Illinois University where he earned his B.S. in Speech Communications. As a graduate assistant at St. Cloud State, he earned his M.S. in Sports Management.
