Biography

2020: Appeared in 11 games making seven starts ... batted .286, recorded eight hits, scored five runs and drove in two... Season suspended due to global pandemic.

2019: Played in and started 37 games as Upper Iowa’s everyday shortstop… Hit .316, slugged .426, drove in 17 runs, and had the longest hit streak of the season for the Peacocks at 14 straight games… During that streak he had an average of .420, drove in 8 runs, and scored 6 times.

2018: Appeared in 28 games and earned the start 26 times… Had an average of .270 and knocked in 11 runs.

2017: Played in 13 games making 8 starts in the infield and as a designated hitter... hit .200 while picking up 6 hits and 1 RBI... slugged .200 and totaled an on-base percentage of .226.

2016: Did not play.

High School: 1st team All-Conference, IHSBCA Southeast 2nd Team, Central Region Perfect Game, Top 10 percent of class, Honor Roll for 4 Years.

Personal: Born June 5, 1997... son of Robert and Teresa Braughton... Graduated in May 2019 with double major of accounting and financial management.
