Biography

2017: Appeared in 46 games, making 45 games at shortstop... Earned All-NSIC Second Team honors and was the NSIC's Gold Glove Winner at short stop... hit .296 on the season on 50 hits, including 6 doubles, 2 triples, and a team-best 5 home runs... drove in 22 and scored 25 runs... slugged .444 and tallied an on-base percentage of .370... went 6-11 in stolen bases... registered a .963 fielding percentage at short stop on his way to Gold Glove honors.

2016: Appeared in 45 games, making 44 starts at shortstop... hit .336 on the season on 43 hits, including 7 doubles, 5 triples, and 4 home runs... drove in 31 runs and scored 33... slugged a team-best .563 and tallied a .442 on-base percentage... went 9-11 in stolen bases... registered an .895 fielding percentage at short stop.

2015: Played in and started all 50 games for the Peacocks at shortstop… hit .283 from the leadoff spot for UIU with 51 hits, including seven doubles, four triples and four home runs to slug .443... recorded an on-base percentage of .413 thanks to his hits and 33 walks and 8 hit batsmen… led the Peacocks with 36 RBI and scored 50 runs... stole 15 bases in 21 attempts.

2014: Appeared and started in 25 games as a hitter … picked up 21 hits, including two doubles… scored 11 runs and drove in eight… On-base percentage of .356 thanks to seven walks and four hit batsmen…  was 3-4 in stolen bases. 

Personal: Born November 12, 1992... son of Luis Alberto Ravelo and Mariluz Herrera Matheus... chemistry and mathematics major.
