Biography

2021: All-NSIC Academic Team of Excellence... played in and started 36 games... hit .229 with 16 hits including one double and one triple... scored 12 runs and notched four RBI... had a .271 slugging percentage and a .299 on-base percentage thanks to seven walks... recorded a .939 fielding percentage.

2020: Started all 17 games prior to the season being suspended… batted .314 with 11 hits highlighted by a double against Southeastern Oklahoma on Feb. 16… scored on six occasions while driving in two more… slugged .343 and led the team with a .467 on-base percentage thanks to 10 walks… went 2-3 in stolen bases… posted a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage with 20 putouts.

Prior to UIU: 2019 second-team all-region honors... two-time first team all-academic.

Personal: Daughter of Brian and Jenny Carlson… special education major.
