Biography

2017: Earned Second-Team All-NSIC honors after leading all starting pitchers in the Northern Sun with a 1.36 ERA... for the season made 11 appearances, starting 10... went 6-3 with a 2.29 ERA... tossed 63.0 innings allowing 28 runs, 16 earned, on 63 hits... struck out 26 and walked 13... in conference games only Fanning was 5-3, allowing a .249 average and struck out 25 batters

2016: Made three appearances on the mound, all starts... tossed 11.0 innings, allowing 5 runs, 2 earned, on 12 hits... struck out 9 and did not walk a batter all while battling injuries throughout the season.

2015: Started opening day, but lasted only 1.1 innings before a season-ending injury off a ball back up the middle. 

2014: Made six starts in eight appearances on the mound with one complete game… had a 1-3 record with a 4.02 ERA… pitched 31.1 innings and allowed 23 runs, 14 earned, on 37 hits… struck out 15 and walked 12.

High School: Named the Baseball Player of the Year... named the Area Athlete of the Year... National Honors Society member.

Personal: Born June 15, 1995... son of Todd and Rachel Fanning... accounting major... working on his Masters of business administration.
