2019: played seven games ... recorded 16 tackles, nine solo.

High School: Rated a three-star recruit by ESPN, 247Sports, Scout, Rivals… also received offers from Arizona, LSU, Missouri, Temple, Indiana, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Louisville, Appalachian State, Arizona, Army, Colorado State, East Carolina, FIU, FAU and Marshall among others before committing to USF... three-time all state... caught 38 passes for 545 yards and seven touchdowns... totaled 14 tackles, three pass breakups and an interception he returned for 79 yards as a senior two-way starter.

Personal: Son of Anthony and Mary Matthews ... business major.
