Biography

2021: Played in 38 games with 36 starts... finished second on the team with a .368 batting average and a .500 slugging percentage... tied for second with 42 hits and three home runs while adding six doubles... tied for second with a .387 on-base percentage... scored 13 runs and drove in 17... notched the team's lone four-hit game and had 11 multiple hit games... had team-highs with a nine-game hitting streak and a reached base streak of 10... compiled a .860 fielding percentage.

2020: Played in 14 games with 11 starts prior to the season being suspended… tallied two hits, one RBI and one run scored… hit .074 on the season… posted a .941 fielding percentage.

2019: All-NSIC Academic Team… appeared in 26 games with 22 starts… hit .261 for the season on 18 hits with four of extra-base variety… had her best performance against Minnesota Crookston on Apr. 15 when she crushed her first career grand slam and finished the double header with nine RBI… drove in 11 runs and scored four times throughout the year… slugged .348 and had a .278 on-base percentage… registered a .980 fielding percentage.

2018: Played in 35 games making 32 starts… batted .266 on 25 hits, including a double and a home run… drove in 11 runs and scored eight times… slugged .309 and tallied a .343 on-base percentage.

High School: Led Laconia High School to a pair of state championships over the last two seasons... letter winner for the Spartans, and hit an impressive .479 with 11 doubles, six triples, three home runs and 35 RBIs to earn First Team All-Flyway Conference and Wisconsin Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association Second Team All-State honors.

Personal: Daughter of Chad and Cally Kastenschmidt... biology major.
