Biography

2021: Named All-NSIC South Division First Team Defense... played in all 11 games... recorded 46 tackles, 32 solo... led the NSIC with 20 tackles for a loss for 89 yards... made 8.5 sacks... also led the team with two fumble recoveries... had a season high of eight tackles, five tackles for a loss, and two sacks vs. Minnesota-Duluth... registered two sacks and two fumble recoveries in the 42-41 overtime win vs. Wayne St.... named to the D2Football.com Elite 100... finished his career first in program history with 24.5 career sacks and third with 43.5 tackles for a loss... named to NSIC Fall All-Academic Team.

2020: Upper Iowa did not compete due to the pandemic.

2019: played in all 11 games ... recorded 48 tackles, 32 of which were solo ... had 19 tackles for a loss of 117 yards ... made 12.5 sacks ... forced two fumbles, recovered two fumbles... earned Don Hansen All-America Third Team honors, Don Hansen Super Region Four team, D2CCA All-Super Region Four team, and All-NSIC South Division First Team honors.

2018: played in 11 games… recorded 31 tackles, 15 of which were solo, had 2.5 sacks

2017: played in nine games … recorded 18 tackles, nine of which were solo… had one sack

High School: 2016 first team all-conference and all-area.

Personal: Son of Kathleen and Julius Hansen... public administration major.
