Biography

2016-17: Finished 27-7 with three falls, four tech falls, and 5 major decisions... went 8-0 against Northern Sun Conference opponents... finished fifth at NCAA Super Regionals... pre-season number one ranking at 149 pounds.

2015-16: Finished 32-14 with eight falls, two tech falls, and two major decisions... went 6-2 against NSIC opponenets... went 1-2 at the NCAA Division II Championships in Sioux Falls, S.D.... placed fourth at NCAA Super Regionals... lost to Tyler Stenberg of Northern State earlier in the season 15-6, but bounced back at Super Regionals to win 6-3 and reach the NCAA Championships in the fourth-place match.

2014-15: Wrestled unattached in five tournaments... placed third at the Luther Open... won the Auggie-Adidas Open... placed second at the Loras Duhawk Open.

Personal: Born August 29, 1994... son of Nelson Penichet and Tanalia Santa... criminal justice major.
