Biography

2016-17: Played and started all 33 games, averaging 26.7 minutes per game... led the team in scoring with 13.2 per contest, shooting 55.5% from the floor... earned All-NSIC Second Team honors and was named the NSIC Defensive Player of the Year, the first player in program history to earn that award... averaged 6.5 rebounds per game to lead the team... totaled 47 blocks and 52 steals, both tops in the NSIC... scored in double figures 23 times, including hitting the 20-point plateau 7 times... scored a career-high 26 points twice, at #19 Southwest Minnesota State on Jan. 7 and at home vs. Minnesota State on Feb. 10... scored in double figures in each of the last six games, including all five post-season contests... became the 26th member of the 1,000-point club in program history after connecting on a layup in the final game of the season against Northwest Missouri State... hauled in a career-best 15 rebounds against SMSU in the NSIC Tournament Championship game... was named to the NSIC All-Tournament Team, joining teammates Luke Lenhart and Carson Parker as the only three players in program history to be named to the all-tournament team... totaled three double-doubles as well.

2015-16: Played in just four games before his season came to an end with an injury... took a medical redshirt... averaged 9.8 points and 3.8 rebounds in just four games.

2014-15: Played in all 30 games, making 3 starts... averaged 10.1 points and a team-high 5.0 rebounds per game... scored in double figures 16 times, including a season-high 19 points on Jan. 2 at MSU Moorhead... totaled a season-high in rebounding with 9 boards against Fort Hays State on Nov. 11... led the Peacocks in steals with 38 and blocked shots with 23... finished second on the team shooting 54.4% from the floor.

2013-14: NSIC All-Academic Team... played in all 30 games, starting twice... averaged 5.9 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.1 steals and 0.8 blocks per game... totaled a season-high in points with 15 at William Jewel on Nov. 23... recorded a season-high 8 rebounds vs. Missouri-St. Louis on Nov. 19... scored double-digit points in six contests, finishing sixth on the team in scoring and third in rebounding.

2012-13: Saw action in 29 games, including 19 NSIC games… averaged 1.6 points, 1.2 rebounds and 0.6 assists per game… recorded a season-best 7 points in the final game of the season against Augustana on Mar. 16... recorded a season-high seven rebounds and four assists against Wayne State on Dec. 14... played 251 total minutes and averaged 9.2 minutes per game in NSIC play.

High School: Hay was named a three-time All-State selection in basketball, while also earning All-State honors in baseball during his high school career.

Personal: Born September 27, 1993... son of Glenn and Lisa Hay... business administration major.
