Biography

2018: NSIC Myles Brand All-Academic with Distinction Award… All-NSIC Academic Team… started all 44 games… hit .246 for the season on 28 hits, including six doubles, a triple and two homers… drove in 18 runs and scored nine times… slugged .368 and registered an on-base percentage of .298… tallied a .989 fielding percentage.

2017: All-NSIC Academic Team… played in 43 games as a junior, starting 40 times behind the plate... hit .308 on 32 hits, including 7 doubles and 2 home runs... drove in 12 runs and scored 13 times... slugged .433 and recorded an on-base percentage of .381... registered a .976 fielding percentage. 

2016: All-NSIC Academic Team…played in three games... went 1-2 at the plate.

2015: Saw time in five games... hit .333 with one hit in three at-bats... the lone hit came against MSUM on April 18 and drove in a pair of runs... drew a walk and scored a run in her first at-bat of her career against Missouri S&T on Feb. 20.

High School: Earned All-State, All-Section and All-Conference honors in 2012, 2013 and 2014... salutatorian in her class.

Personal: Born October 6, 1995... daughter of Tim and Ann Nix... business administration major.
