Biography

2016: Played in 8 games as a freshman at linebacker... registered 32 tackles including 16 solo... totaled 3.5 tackles for loss and 1 sack... picked off a pass and broke up another... was named NSIC Defensive Player of the Week after intercepting a pass on Concordia-St. Paul's opening drive and returned it 29 yards to set up UIU's first touchdown en route to a 41-21 victory... In just his third game and second start of the season, Munoz led the way for the UIU defense with 13 tackles including 1.5 tackles for loss and a sack... UIU held their hosts to just 30 yards on the ground on the game.

Personal: Born February 6, 1998... son of Bertha and Gerardo Munoz... exercise science major.
