2016: Portis earned All-NSIC Second Team honors after wrapping another solid season for the Peacocks gaining 811 yards (9th NSIC) on 156 carries for an average of 5.2 yards per rush... the sophomore running back didn't get a carry until the third game of the season due to injury, but made up for the absence quickly, running for 139 yards and 3 touchdowns in his first game back at MSU Moorhead... Portis racked up 396 yards and 7 touchdowns in his first three games back from injury... His high yard total of the year came on Senior Day in Fayette; the Lompoc, California product gained 164 yards as UIU defeated Wayne State... Portis totaled 99 rushing yards and 34 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns against the Mavericks.

2015: Played in 9 games as a freshman running back... led the Peacocks in rushing with 134 attempts for 505 yards... rushed for 3 touchdowns as well... hauled in 18 catches for 142 yards and a score... averaged 7.9 yards per catch... averaged 3.8 yards per carry.
