2012-13: As a senior, Wentzien started all 32 games and all 22 NSIC contests in the post … finished first on the team in many categories including scoring (14.5 ppg), field-goal attempts (336), field goals made (173), free throw attempts (141), rebounds collected (200), total defensive (132) and offensive (68) rebounds and blocked shots (23) …  for his efforts, Wentzien was named an All-NSIC First-Team honoree and he picked up NABC All-District Second Team honors ... averaged 14.5 points, 6.3 rebounds and 0.7 blocks per game … shot 51-percent from the floor, 34-percent from beyond the arc and 71-percent from the free throw line … scored in double-figures 25 times, including a streak of nine straight games with 10 or more points from Jan. 11 to Feb. 2 … set a new career-high in scoring earning 31 points at Augustana (2/22/13) on 11-of-16 shooting and 9-of-12 free throw shooting …  came up one rebound shy of a career-high in that same game with a season-high 13 rebounds against the Vikings … tied his career-high with 4 double-doubles during the season - two of those occuring in the NSIC/Sanford Health Men’s Basketball Tournament … recorded a career-high four assists at St. Cloud State (2/9/13) … played a total of 768 minutes averaging 23.5 minutes per game in NSIC play … finished the year with 464 total points, 200 rebounds, 17 assists, 56 turnovers, 23 blocks and 18 steals … Wentzien finishes his four years with a total of 1,269 points, which ranks 12th in the Upper Iowa record books … he started 97 out of the 109 career games and he was just one of 22 Peacocks in school history to reach 1,000 points in their career.

2011-12: Started all 26 games for UIU... averaged 13.7 points thanks to 50.3% shooting from the field and 38.5 from behind the three point line... averaged 7.3 rebounds per game... scored a career-high 26 points at Bemidji State, 2-24-12, snared a career-high 14 boards at Minnesota State Moorheadd, 1-13-12... scored in double figures 19 times topping 20 points three times; also registered four double-doubles.

2010-11:  Started 24 of 26 games... averaged 11.5 points and 6.3 rebounds (12^th in the NSIC last year) per game... blocked the third most shots/game in the NSIC (1.3)...  shot 47.7% from the floor and 32% from the three point line... converted 78.2% of his attempts at the charity stripe... scored a career-high 22 points at home versus St. Cloud State University... pulled down a career-high 12 rebounds at Concordia Univeristy-St. Paul... reached double figures in points 18 times and registered a double-double in points and rebounds twice.

2009-10: Started 15 of 25 game appearances…averaged 6 points and 4.4 rebounds as a true freshman…made 55% (62-112) of his shots from the floor…converted 64 % (25-39) of his free attempts…blocked 8 shots and recorded 5 steals on the season…had a season-high 16 points versus Concordia-St. Paul (2-27-10)…recorded season-high of 8 rebounds 4 times during the season.

High School: As a senior at Solon High School...led Solon to a 28-0 record and a Class 2A Iowa State Championship...averaged 13.2 points and 8.3 rebounds per game while shooting 60% from the field as a senior...named First Team All State by the Iowa Newspaper Association...as a junior...led Solon to a 23-2 record...scored 14.3 points per game and 10.4 rebounds per game...added 2.3 blocks and 2.2 steals per game...team finished third in the Iowa State Tournament as a junior...named to Iowa All-State player as a junior.
