Biography

2012: In his final year in Peacock blue, Martinez started seven matches at forward and saw action in 16 total games as UIU made the transition to the MIAA conference… he found the back of the net for the game-winning goal on the 20th of September against Southwest Baptist… took only two shots and placed one of those on goal… played 539 minutes in his final season.

2011: Played in 11 matches while starting one... scored one goal... took five shots and placed three on goal.

2010: Competed in 16 matches…netted three goals and tallied a pair of assists…took 21 shots while putting 12 on goal for a 57.1% shots on goal average…had a two-goal match vs. Cornell (9-19-10).

2009: Appeared in 16 matches, making one start during his freshman season...tallied one assist and three shots.

Personal: Born August 3, 1989...son of Hector and Sonia Martinez...marketing and graphic design major.
