DUBUQUE, Iowa - Five Upper Iowa men's wrestlers placed at Saturday's Loras College Open as Owen Denstad (149) and Geoffery Freeman (285) both led the Peacocks on the day in third place. Reily Dolan (165) and Lucas Henderson (174) both took fifth, while James Lovelady (141) placed sixth. 

Freeman took third after picking up his first two wins by major decision and tech fall. He then picked up decision victories over Boden Brokopp of Loras College (7-3), Landon Griffin of Iowa Central CC (4-1) and Cameron Guenther of Northern Iowa (4-1).

Denstad opened with a tech fall and injury default win. After losing in the semifinals to Minnesota's Rhett Koenig in a 5-2 decision, he rebounded with a pair of decision wins over  Collin McDowell of Wisconsin (8-1) and unattached wrestler Evan Onstad (10-3).

Dolan picked up two wins by decision and won via medical forfeit in the fifth-place match. Henderson opened with a high-scoring win in a 17-15 decision over Austin Pfantz (unattached). His next two wins were by technical fall over Callan Husey (St. Ambrose) and Gunnar Thompson (Loras College). Lovelady picked up a 15-2 major decision win over Timmy Plamondon of Grandview. 

Cale Nash (149), Kale Hansen (157) and Collin Altensey (157) all picked up four wins on the day. Nash recorded two falls, a major decision and a decision win. Hansen won with three falls and a major decision. Altensey had a decision win, two tech falls and a major decision. 

Jonah Luensman (141) had two wins with a major decision and a fall. Chase Wickwire (184) won with a major decision over Robert Stickelmaier of St. Ambrose. Brock Shaha (133) won with a fall over Dominic Benjamin of Grandview. 

The Peacocks are back in action on Sunday at 2 p.m. in Dorman Memorial Gymnasium with a GLVC dual against Quincy (Ill.) (8-4, 1-2 GLVC).
