FAYETTE, Iowa - Upper Iowa men's and women's golf head north on Sept. 14-15 to compete at Concordia-St. Paul's/Minnesota State's Fall Brawl. The tournament is held at the par-71 Troy Burne Golf Club in Hudson, Wisconsin. The course plays at a distance of 7,003 yards for the men and 5,828 yards for the women.Â
LAST TIME OUT
The Peacock women competed at the Wartburg Invitational last weekend, placing sixth out of 21 teams. Addison Weber shot a career-best two-round score of 147 (+3) and led the field after day one, shooting 70 (-2). She finished tied for fourth individually.
Delaney Martin led the Peacocks on Sunday, shooting 76 (+4) for a total of 157 (+13). This was a career-low score for Martin, and she tied for 18th place.Â
The Upper Iowa men's squad shot a 284 (+4) in the third and final round of Central Missouri's "The Mule" on Tuesday. This was UIU's lowest individual team round since the 2025 Wartburg Spring Invitational. Upper Iowa finished 20th out of 20 teams.
Christian Burkhart tied for 33rd individually with a total of 220 (+10), shooting 70 (E) in the final round. Joseph Grau tied for 65th with a score of 225 (+15). Owen Davison tallied a hole-in-one in round two and tied for 72nd, shooting 226 (+16). Davison had the best individual round of any Peacock golfer, shooting 67 (-3) in the final round.Â
2024 CSP/MSU FALL BRAWL
The Upper Iowa women's golf team placed 10th out of 11 teams at last season's Fall Brawl. The Peacocks were led by Katie Schweers, who shot 159 (+17), tying for fifth place. Martin tied for 47th, shooting 177 (+35) and Brynn Bonefas placed 51st, shooting 179 (+37).Â
Sioux Falls (S.D.) took first place, shooting 634 (+66) over the two-round tournament. The Cougars won the tournament by six strokes over Winona State (Minn.). Winona's Ellie Behring won the tournament individually, shooting 149 (+7).Â
On the men's side, UIU placed 12th out of 13 teams. Davison tied for 18th in the tournament, shooting 150 (+6) after a great second round score of 68 (-2). He tallied five birdies in the final round.Â
Concordia-St. Paul (Minn.) won the tournament, shooting 577 (+9) as a team. Minnesota Crookston shot 584 (+16) in second place and Augustana (S.D.) took third, shooting 587 (+19). Mason Weeks of Sioux Falls took first place, shooting 141 (-1).Â

After this week's tournament, the Peacocks will be in Lake City, Minnesota, for Winona State's The Jewel Invitational on Sept. 22-23.
