THIS WEEK IN PEACOCK GOLF… Upper Iowa men and women's golf will compete in the UIU Invite at the Sunnyside Country Club in Waterloo, Iowa. The meet will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Apr. 5 and continue on Sunday, Apr. 6 at 10 a.m. once again.

THRIVING AT WARTBURG… Men's golf opened the season by taking fourth-place at Lindenwood, and are coming off a second-place finish at Wartburg. Juniors Owen Davison and Dylan Burns each tied for third place as they posted scores of 147 (+3). Davison posted the best score on day two at 68 (-4) as he recorded five birdies on day two to finish with seven at the competition. Burns also added seven birdies as he finished with a 73 (+1) score on day one and a 74 (+2) score on day two. Sophomore Clayton Liddle took ninth place with a 151 (+7) score, where he hit three birdies on day one. Redshirt-freshman Joseph Grau finished right behind Liddle in tenth, with a 152 (+8) score with two birdies.
 
NSIC PREVIEW IMPACT… Women's golf has competed in one meet this season, where they placed 13th overall at the NSIC Preview. Fifth year Katie Schweers recorded a 34th place finish with a 167 (+23) score. She opened the competition with one birdie on day one, and would follow that up with three on day two. Senior Delaney Martin took 64th place with a 177 (+33) score where she hit back-to-back birdies on day one.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS… Peacock women's golf will close at their regular season at the UMSL Invite in St. Louis, Mo. The two-day event will take place from Sunday, Apr. 13 through Monday, Apr. 14 at the Norwood Hills Country Club.
