The Peacocks wrapped up the Lewis Flyer Dome Invitational by dropping to the Bemidji State Beavers 3-1 in extra innings.
Fifth year

She opened the game by striking out the first batter she faced, before striking out two batters in the second and fourth innings. Vetter posted a three-up three-down inning in the fifth where she recorded three consecutive strikeouts. She concluded the seventh by striking out two batters in a row swinging, before forcing a ground out to help send the game to extra innings.
Sophomore
Addyson Alber posted the Peacocks first hit of the game, as she hit a double out to center field in the second inning. Freshman
Dorothy Ziebell added a single to shortstop to lead off the fifth, and
Serah Shafer would single on bunts in both the third and sixth innings.
The game reached extra innings as both teams remained tied at zero after the seventh. With a runner being automatically placed on second base, the Beavers opened the eighth with a single to third. They added a double that put two runners in scoring position, but the Peacocks forced a clutch out at the plate. With one out, Bemidji State doubled to center field to take a 1-0 lead. They would extend the lead to three on a pair of Peacock errors, before the UIU defense would force a double play.
With fifth year

Reagan Church advanced her to third on a ground out. Junior
Kylie Doty was able to put the Peacocks on the board with a sacrifice fly to left field as VanMilligan scored on the play. Shafer would record her third single of the day on a hit to third base, but the Beavers would force a strikeout to secure the 3-1 win.
