FAYETTE, Iowa - The Upper Iowa women's soccer team (3-9-2, 1-8-1 GLVC) travels for the final time this season to face Missouri-St. Louis (8-3-2, 7-1-2 GLVC) and Maryville (Mo.) (8-1-4, 6-1-3 GLVC). The Peacocks play the Tritons on Friday, Oct. 24, at 12:30 p.m. and the Saints on Sunday, Oct. 25, at noon.

The Peacocks fell to Missouri S&T (6-6-1, 4-5-1 GLVC) and Lincoln (Mo.) (1-8-4, 1-7-3) this past weekend. Haylie Hutchinson led Upper Iowa with six total shots. Goalkeeper Avery Harding finished the weekend with 11 saves.
STATISTICAL LEADERS
Giovanna Alexa Garcia leads the team in goals this season with three, totaling a team-high six points. Hutchinson is the team leader in shots (21) and assists (three). The junior forward is second on the team in points with five.
Haylee Allen and Rhea Buchanan both have two goals this season. Myriah Roybal has also scored once and leads the team in minutes with 1,260. Senior defender Natalie Lima leads the team in minutes with 1,215.
Harding has started the past four games in goal for the Peacocks, totaling 37 saves with a 78.7% save percentage.
AROUND THE GLVC
McKendree (Ill.) (8-1-4, 8-1-1 GLVC) and Quincy (Ill.) (9-2-2, 8-1-1 GLVC) lead the conference with 25 points. The Bearcats and Hawks have clinched a spot in the GLVC Tournament. McKendree and Quincy play each other in the final game of the regular season on Nov. 2.
The Bearcats are ranked in this week's United Soccer Coaches' Poll, coming in at No. 24. Maryville is also receiving votes. UMSL is in third place in the GLVC with 23 points, Drury (Mo.) (7-2-4, 6-1-4 GLVC) is in fourth place with 22 points and Maryville is in fifth place with 21 points.
ABOUT THE TRITONS - Friday at 12:30 p.m.
The Tritons picked up a pair of 3-0 victories over UIndy and Lewis (Ill.) this past weekend. UMSL has one GLVC loss this season to Illinois-Springfield, falling 1-0 on Oct. 12.
Junior Josie Maddox leads the Tritons with four goals and two assists (10 points). She also leads the team in shots with 36. Freshman Ella Anselm has four goals and one assist with 32 shots.
Goalkeeper Rylee Griffith has totaled 36 saves and an 81.8% save percentage. Those rank 10th and fourth in the GLVC, respectively. The redshirt junior has seven shutouts this season, leading the conference and ranking 12th nationally.
Head coach Stephen Cavallo is in his first season with Missouri-St. Louis. He spent the past two seasons as an assistant coach at the University of Denver (Colo.).
ABOUT THE SAINTS - Sunday at noon
Maryville went 2-0 this past weekend against Illinois-Springfield and UIndy. The Saints also had their lone GLVC loss on Oct. 12 against McKendree. The Bearcats defeated the Saints, 4-1.
Freshman forward Sophia Carter leads Maryville with five goals and three assists (13 points). She's 10th in the GLVC in goals. Junior midfielder Allison Estanich has five assists and two goals. She ranks fourth in the GLVC in assists. Ashlynne Hunt has also put in four goals.
Goalkeeper Agnes Vilen has played every minute for the Saints this season. She has 25 saves, a 71.4% save percentage and six shutouts. She ranks third in the GLVC in total shutouts.
Head coach Lori Lawson is in her eighth season with the Saints. She has a 111-27-33 overall record entering this weekend.
