Men's basketball is on the road this weekend as they challenge Lewis in Romeoville, Ill. on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. and Indianapolis on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. The Peacocks come into the weekend 9-4 overall and 3-2 in the GLVC. The Flyers are 9-3 on the year and 4-1 in the conference, while Indianapolis is 8-5 overall and 2-3 in league play.Â

AROUND THE LEAGUE
In the early portion of the conference schedule, Missouri S&T leads the league at a flawless 4-0 record. Trailing behind at 4-1 are Lewis, Rockhurst and Missouri-St. Louis. Upper Iowa, Southwest Baptist and McKendree sit at 3-2, while three schools have two wins (William Jewell, Lincoln and Indianapolis) and five schools have one win (Truman State, Quincy, Drury, Illinois Springfield and Maryville).Â

Caleb Delzell leads the conference in blocks with 20, averaging 1.5 rejections per contest. His 20 blocks on the year rank him 46
th in NCAA DII. Delzell has recorded a season-high four blocks against St. Cloud State and has registered four games with three or more blocks.

HUNTING THE GLASS
The Peacocks lead the conference in rebounds per game with 42.9 per game, ranking 7
th in NCAA DII. The team also leads the league in offensive rebounds and is listed 12th in the NCAA with 15 per game. UIU has grabbed 195 offensive rebounds this season, 40 more than the next-closest team in the league. Reid has collected 9.8 rebounds a game (1
st in GLVC), followed by
Kyle Hrncir with 7.7 per contest (5
th in GLVC). Hrncir leads the conference in offensive rebounds with 3.4 per game (20

SEEING DOUBLE
Nick Reid has registered five double-doubles on the season, which leads the GLVC and ranks 22
nd in NCAA DII. The forward continues to lead the league in scoring and rebounding. He puts up 21.5 points per contest and hauls in 9.8 rebounds per game. Reid recorded a season-high 35 points and 16 rebounds at Roosevelt before the holiday break.Â

The Peacocks have a pair of road games next weekend, as they take on Truman State on Thursday, Jan. 16, and Quincy on Saturday, Jan. 18.
