The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) has shared the NCAA D2 Men's bracket for the upcoming NWCA/
USMC Multi-Division National Dual Meet Championships. Presented by
A Better Way Athletics,
Capitol Construction, and
Defense Soap, this year's event will take place at the University of Northern Iowa's UNI-Dome on January 10-11, 2025.
Peacock men's wrestling is set to take on the # 4 seed Glenville State on Friday at 10 a.m. (Mat 12). Upper Iowa's next dual on Friday will be against #5 McKendree or West Liberty at 12 p.m.
Upper Iowa men's wrestling was listed 24th in the NWCA's latest rankings that were released on Dec. 23. The Peacocks boasted three in the individual rankings:
Lawson Losee (174) in 6th,
Colter Bye (184) in 8th and
Ethen Doty (149) in 11th.
The top eight seeds in the NCAA D2 Men's bracket are as follows:
- St. Cloud State
- Central Oklahoma
- Nebraska-Kearney
- Glenville State
- McKendree
- Augustana (SD)
- UW-Parkside
- Tiffin
