Peacock football trailed the Bearcats in Bolivar 7-0 for three quarters before coming to life in the fourth and putting up 21 unanswered points. The Peacocks sealed the 21-7 victory for their first conference win of the season and improved to 2-2 (1-0 GLVC).

THE NATIONAL SCENE
Several highlights of the Peacock defense appears on the national leaderboard. Upper Iowa is tied for fourth in the country with seven interceptions on the season. Zacarius Murray, Tyler Owen and Ben Kamara have two, while Shaquille Roman has nabbed one.

UIU ranks 17th in Division II in third-down defense (26%) and sits near the top of the leaderboard in blocked kicks with two, tying with a handful of other teams.

SCOUTING THE HAWKS

Quincy is leading the GLVC in league wins with two and have yet to compete against a non-conference opponent. They were scheduled to play Drake in the first week of the season, but it resulted in a "no result" due to weather conditions during the game.

The Hawks defeated Lincoln 46-5 two weeks prior and, most recently, downed Missouri S&T 21-14 in Rolla, Mo.

Teon Dollard leads the team with four rushing touchdowns and has totaled 269 yards in the team's two games this season. Drake Davis has completed 37-48 passes (77%) and has tossed four touchdowns. Brock Inman paces the Hawks in tackles with 14, while Joseph Web has their only interception.
