EARLY-SEASON RECAP… The Peacocks have opened the season with an 0-1-1 record, highlighted by a 2-2 tie in the season opener against Winona State. Sophomore
Maile Kehano has shined in both games this season as she picked up two assists against WSU and scored a goal against Bemidji State. Freshman
Jordan Goldstein kicked off the season with a goal and an assist, and she leads all field players with 176 minutes played. Freshman
Mikalyn Hidde scored the Peacocks first goal of the season and sophomore
Haylie Hutchinson and freshman
Samantha Most have each dished out one assist.
LEWIS PREVIEW… The Flyers have started the season with an 0-3-1 record and are coming off a 3-1 defeat to Quincy. Goalkeeper Josie Graziosi has started all four games, recording a save percentage of 76.9% with 20 saves. Forward Breanna Culver scored the first goal of the season in a tie with Roosevelt and she has recorded six shots on goal throughout the year. Defender Anna Sainato added Lewis' second goal of the season against Quincy with midfielder Timea Rojnik picking up the assist. Defender Olivia Zediker leads all field players with 336 minutes, appearing in all 90 minutes of action twice on the year.
INDIANAPOLIS PREVIEW… The Greyhounds have posted a 1-2-1 mark and are coming off a scoreless tie with Truman State. Goalkeeper Jenna Taghikhani has started every game on the year, recording 15 saves and a 78.9% save percentage with one shutout. Defender Clare Simmonds and forward Mia Winters each scored a goal in their season opener, where the Greyhounds defeated Ohio Dominican 2-1. Forward Stephanie Brady added a goal in the following game with forward Antiya Sidibe picking up the assist. Brady, alongside defender Zy'Aire Parker have both appeared in all 90 minutes of action in every game this season.
MARK YOUR CALENDARS… The Peacocks will stay at home for consecutive games. UIU hosts Truman State on Friday, Sept. 27 at 5 p.m. and Quincy on Sunday, Sept. 29 at 12 p.m.
