Upper Iowa football has finalized their schedule for the fall of 2024. They are set to compete in 11 contests, highlighted by their season opener against Butler University on Aug 31 at 12 p.m. in Indianapolis, Ind. Butler is an NCAA Division I member of the Big East that plays football in the Pioneer League.
The Peacocks will face Concordia, St. Paul in their home opener in a non-conference matchup on Sep. 7 at 6 p.m., followed by another non-conference battle at South Dakota Mines on Sep. 14. UIU football opens conference play on Sep. 14 against Southwest Baptist in Bolivar, Mo. Their first home GLVC contest is set for Oct. 5 versus Truman State. Other home events include William Jewell on Oct. 10, Indianapolis on Oct. 26 and Missouri S&T on Nov. 16.
"We're excited about our second year in the GLVC," said Hoskins. "We know the landscape a little bit better and are preparing to compete in the league. We are also able to play some non-conference games with the flexibility on the GLVC schedule. We are currently scheduled to play Concordia-St. Paul at home and South Dakota School of Mines on the road in the 2024 season."
