Upper Iowa men's wrestling sent 17 athletes to the BVU Open on Saturday in Storm Lake, Iowa. Six Peacocks placed in the event, with Nick Mueller finishing the highest in second.  They saw two third-place finishes, one fourth-place finish, and a sixth and eighth-place finish, respectively. 
 
Mueller (165) went 3-0 on the day, including two wins by fall. Caleb Olson (157) followed behind in 3^rd place with four wins under his belt: two by decision, one major decision and one by fall.  Cael Bridgewater (149) took 3^rd after posting four wins on the afternoon, three by tech fall and one by fall. Jackson Rolfs (149) notched a 4^th place finish with one win by decision and one by tech fall after receiving a bye.  
 
Tanner Arjes (141) came in 6^th on the day, going 2-2 and dropping the fifth-place match by fall. Kale Hansen (157) rounded out the Peacocks who placed in the tournament, taking 8^th and finishing the day with a 2-3 record. 
 
UIU is back on the road tomorrow as they vie with Minnesota State at 5 p.m.
