Josh Davis has announced his resignation as head coach of the Upper Iowa University women's soccer program, effective at the end of November.
Davis came to Upper Iowa in June of 2022 and posted a record of 8-33-10 across three seasons at the helm. The program finished the 2022 campaign with a 2-12-4 (1-10-4 NSIC) mark, and in 2023 went 2-13-12 overall (1-10-2 GLVC). The team improved to a 4-8-4 mark this year and went 4-7-3 in conference play. The Peacocks tied for 8
th in the regular season conference standings and had the opportunity to qualify for the postseason heading into the last week of conference action. UIU was edged out of the GLVC Championship Tournament under tiebreaker criteria.
"I wish Coach Davis all the best moving forward and sincerely thank him for his work at Upper Iowa," said Vice President for Athletics Rick Hartzell.
Jordan Goldstein concluded the season with the most points (14) of any freshman in the GLVC, scoring four goals and adding six assists on the year.
Haylie Hutchinson and
Mikalyn Hidde each netted three goals, with Hutchinson also recording three assists and Hidde dishing out one.
Maile Kehano scored one goal and ranked second on the team with four assists. Other notables include freshman

Jessica Ancheta (two assists), senior
Darci Faichnie (two assists) and freshman
Kaydence Bonneau (one goal).
Isabelle Wagner recorded a 71.1% save percentage in goal with 69 saves.
A national search for the new head coach will begin immediately.
