THIS WEEK IN PEACOCK VOLLEYBALL
Upper Iowa volleyball returns to Fayette this weekend as they play this season's last set of home matches. They will go head-to-head with Lewis on Friday at 6 p.m. and Indianapolis on Saturday at 3 p.m. The Peacocks come into the weekend with a 10-13 mark and a 2-7 record in the GLVC.Â

CLOSING IN ON THE ALL-TIME ASSIST RECORD
Nicole Pozorski is barreling in on the Upper Iowa volleyball all-time assist record held by Keri Vance (2006-09), who recorded 3,833 assists. Pozorski has tallied 3,746 in her career and 842 in the 2024 campaign. She ranks fifth in the GLVC in total assists this season. Â

ABOUT THE OPPONENTS
Lewis ranks fourth in the conference with a 7-2 mark in the GLVC, clinching their spot in the Championship Tournament heading into the postseason. Their two losses came against Missouri S&T (3-1) and Maryville (3-2) just last weekend. In the conference, they rank second in opponent hitting percentage (.164), fifth in hitting percentage (.205) and fourth in assists with 12.34 per set.Â

Indianapolis sits seventh in the league with a 5-4 GLVC record. They had won four GLVC contests in a row amidst a 13-game winning streak before their run was broken up by a loss to McKendree (3-2), causing a seven-game losing streak. They picked up a 3-0 win against Missouri S&T last weekend to put themselves back on track. Setter Claire Morris is third in the league in assists with 10.43 per set, Kelsey McKenny is fifth in blocks (88 total) and Ellie Spang is fifth in digs (4.75 per set).Â

UIU will have one final weekend left of action with two GLVC matchups. They will travel to Missouri to battle Maryville on Friday, Nov. 15, and Missouri S&T on Saturday, Nov. 16.Â
