Upper Iowa volleyball returns home this weekend as they leap back into conference play after the Midwest Crossover. Rockhurst and William Jewell travel to Fayette this weekend, as the Peacocks take on the Hawks Friday at 6 p.m., and the Cardinals on Saturday at 5 p.m.

Peacock volleyball has a jam-packed weekend ahead, as Friday they will pay tribute to Breast Cancer Awareness, and Saturday they welcome their alumni back to the building. Saturday is Youth Day in Fayette, so everyone 18 and under will get into the game versus William Jewell for free. Â

LAST WEEK IN REVIEW
The Peacocks went 3-0 at the Midwest Crossover last weekend in Hammond, Ind. The GLVC was the most dominant conference at the event, as they went 31-11with six teams being undefeated. Upper Iowa trumped Saginaw Valley State (3-0), Lake Erie (3-1) and Ursuline (3-0).
Zoe Semelroth was named to the Midwest Crossover All-Tournament Team after her impressive performance that weekend.Â

PLAYER OF THE WEEK X 2
Semelroth aided Upper Iowa to a 3-0 mark at the Midwest Classic in Hammond, Ind and was named GLVC Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season, while earning herself a spot on the All-Tournament Team.

The middle notched a career-high 25 kills versus Lake Erie with a .426 hitting percentage while registering 51 kills for the entire weekend and a .426 attack percentage on 94 attempts.Â

She added 11 blocks, four aces, two digs and one assist.Â

Semelroth ranks in the top ten in three different areas on the national scene in Division II. She is listed 6
th in kills per set with 4.50, and is the highest-ranking middle hitter. The senior ranks 12th in hitting percentage with .410 (333-615). Lastly, she is in 7
th in total kills, and the only middle hitter in the top 14.Â

APPROACHING THE ALL-TIME ASSIST RECORD
Nicole Pozorski is chasing the Upper Iowa volleyball all-time assist record which is held by Keri Vance (2006-09) with 3,833. Pozorski has tallied 3,620 in her career and 716 so far this season. She ranks fourth in the GLVC in total assists and 39
th in Division II.Â
