SCOUTING THE NO. 3 TRITONS (Courtesy of UMSL Communications)… UMSL extended their winning streak to 22 with a pair of victories last weekend. It defeated Missouri S&T 3-1 last Friday and then swept Maryville on Saturday afternoon. Fifth-year senior Lexie Rang led the offensive attack averaging over five kills per set, sophomore Caitlin Bishop directed an offense that hit. 270 over seven sets and averaged 15.14 kills per set while senior Kylie Adams averaged five digs per set.
SCOUTING THE BEARCATS (Courtesy of MCK Communications)… The Bearcats are 10-11 overall on the season and 0-7 in conference play heading into the weekend. They will look to snap their two-game skid as they match up against the Bulldogs and Peacocks. In conference standings, McKendree has held the No.2 spot in digs for most of the season and holds it still at an average of 18.39 digs per set. McKendree is also sixth in assists, headed by junior setter Amber Williams who ranks fifth individually at 10.36 assists per set. Senior Lauren McCurley leads the blocking efforts for McKendree, ranking sixth and tallying 1.00 blocks per set.
GLVC STANDINGS… The top eight teams at the end of the regular season will earn berths to the post-season conference tournament. The current standings are listed below.

AMONG THE ELITE… The GLVC holds representation from four teams in this week's AVCA/Taraflex Division II Top 25 poll. Missouri, St. Louis is the highest on the list, as they moved up to third this week, besting the previous high of four. Lewis is sitting at number 13, while Quincy ranks 21st and Rockhurst came in at the 24th spot. The GLVC has the second-most teams of any conference ranked in this week's poll, just slightly behind the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference who had representation from five teams after this week's rankings.
ON THE HORIZON… Upper Iowa is back on the road next weekend for two more conference outings as they face the University of Indianapolis on Friday, Nov. 3 at 6 p.m. and Lewis University on Saturday, Nov. 4 at 3 p.m.
