The No. 10 Peacock wrestling team won their fifth straight dual on Friday night in Minot, N.D. Upper Iowa won eight of the ten bouts in their dual with Minot State University to win 28-7 and improve to 9-2 overall and 5-0 in the Northern Sun.
Upper Iowa scored on six decisions as well as a win by fall from No. 4
Tate Murty at 141 pounds and a win by technical fall by No. 2
Chase Luensman at 165 pounds, while Minot State got two wins including one major decision.
The dual began at 157 pounds where
Eric Faught was able to score an 8-3 decision fueled by three takedowns over Nathan Baca. Luensman followed with a dominating 23-6 technical fall (4:46) highlighted by four takedowns and three separate four-point nearfalls.
Cael Meyer (174) posted a 12-5 decision behind five takedowns, while
Colter Bye made it four straight for UIU with a 5-4 win at 184 pounds over Cayden White. Bye trailed 3-1 heading into the final frame but rallied for the one-point win.

Dalton Hahn (197) won by decision 5-4 over Dustin Swisher and then
Jordan Baumler took out his second-straight ranked opponent when he defeated No. 9 Jake Swirple by a 6-5 count thanks to a takedown in the final period.
The Beavers scored their first win at 125 pounds, but
Kaden Anderlik (133) registered a 3-2 win over James Davis and Murty grabbed his win by fall (2:20) in the first period. MiSU scored the final points of the dual with a 4-1 victory at 149 pounds.
