Upper Iowa closed out their senior weekend and their 2022 season on Saturday evening in Fayette. The Peacocks dropped a four-set decision to the University of Sioux Falls, who are receiving votes in the AVCA Top 25 poll. UIU won the first set, 25-21, but USF controlled the final three frames by scores of 25-14, 25-13 and 25-18. The Cougars improved to 18-9 overall and 14-6 in the NSIC, while the Peacocks fell to 14-13 overall and 8-12 in the conference.

The Cougars offense was on track most of the night accounting for 60 kills on 126 swings for a .349 hitting percentage, while the Peacock attack knocked down 45 kills but hit .179 as a team.

Courtney Holsteen (15), Jordan Kruper (13) and Sadie Voss (12) all reached double figure kill totals thanks to USF's two setters Elise Gillen (29 assists) and Davis Guetterman (23 assists). Voss added 13 digs to lead the defense as well, while Jordyn Hamm had a big night at the net with four blocks.

Martha Pace played the final two sets and registered eight kills, while
Maggie Streightiff and
Madelyn Rettler logged nine and eight kills, respectively, in their four sets on the floor.
Nicole Pozorski handed out 34 assists, while
Lydia Imbrogno paced the defense with 11 digs.
