The Last Decade in the Rivalry… The two teams have met 11 times between 2010 and 2020 and Upper Iowa holds a slight 6-5 advantage during that time span. UIU won home matches in 2010 (24-18) and 2012 (24-12), while MSU picked up victories in Mankato in 2011 (23-13) and 2013 (21-15). The Peacocks were the first to break the road curse in 2015. Between wins in Fayette in 2014 (26-12) and 2016 (18-17), Upper Iowa claimed a 27-10 victory at Minnesota State in 2015. Since the run of three straight wins for the Peacocks, the Mavericks have been on top for three of the last four years.
