The 2019 Don Hansen Super Region Four and All-America teams have been released and junior defensive end
Erik Hansen has earned a spot on both powerhouse lists. Hansen was named to the Super Region Four Second Team and the All-America Third Team following his outstanding season this past fall. The Burlington, Ill. product had already garnered a place on the D2CCA All-Super Region Four Second Team and a spot on the All-NSIC South Division first team.
The NCAA Division II Super Region Four is comprised of the Northern Sun (NSIC), Lone Star (LSC), Rocky Mountain (RMAC) and Great Northwest (GNAC) conferences.

Hansen wreaked havoc in opponent's backfields all season long. The junior registered 47 tackles including 32 solo stops, 18.5 for loss and 12.5 sacks. He also forced and recovered a pair of fumbles. His 12.5 sacks ranked as the fifth-highest total in the nation this past season and second-best in the NSIC trailing only Chris Garrett of Concordia-St. Paul. Hansen's 18.5 tackles for loss rank fourteenth in all of NCAA Division II and third in the Northern Sun.
