PRESEASON POLL… The Peacocks were picked to finish 16
th in the Northern Sun Conference overall standings and 8
th in the NSIC South Division, while the Panthers were picked second in the Missouri Valley Conference Preseason Poll.
ABOUT THE PANTHERS… The 2017-18 Missouri Valley Conference runner-ups return four starters and 83 percent of its scoring to this year's lineup. Ellie Howell and Preseason All-Conference honoree Megan Maahs lead the way for the Panthers. In the 2017-18 season, Howell recorded 10.9 PPG and Maahs tallied 10.2 PPG and 10.3 RPG. The Panthers are coached by Tanya Warren in her 11
th season at the helm.
