WSU netted a pair of goals in the second half to beat the Peacocks 2-0. UIU's focus now shifts to the weekend, when they will host the Augustana Vikings and the Wayne State Wildcats at Pattison Field. The Peacocks will play the Vikings on Saturday at 1 p.m. and the Wilcats on Sunday at 1 p.m. UIU holds the upper hand in the all-time series against both squads, with a record against the Vikings of 5-2-1 and against the Wildcats of 7-1-3. Upper Iowa fell to the Vikings in Sioux Falls, S.D. last season 2-0, but defeated the Wildcats 3-0 in Wayne, Neb.

goals punctuated the Upper Iowa women's soccer teams most complete game of the season as they earned a 2-1 victory over Fort Hays State on Saturday at Pattison Field. It was the first win of the season for UIU and improved the Peacocks record to 1-1-1, while Fort Hays fell to 1-3.
KEY NOTES TO CONSIDER
1 FIRST VICTORY: The Peacocks picked up their first win of the year last weekend, beating Fort Hays State 2-1. Head Coach
Brian Diaz called it the Peacocks most complete game of the season, earning UIU their first out-of-conference, central region win since defeating No. 23 Central Oklahoma on Sept. 9, 2013.
2 MADIE'S MAGIC: Senior
Madie Edwards has picked up where she left off last season, when she earned First Team All-Central Region and All-NSIC First Team honors, scoring three goals in the first four games of the 2015 season. Edwards now has 25 career goals, which is tied for fourth in program history, and 61 career points, which is good enough for sixth all-time at UIU.
3 NSIC PLAY: Over the last several seasons, the Peacocks have been among the conference's best when it came to league-play. Upper Iowa has won double-digits games in each of the last three conference seasons, amassing a 33-9-3 mark overall. During that span, the Peacocks have finished top three in the conference each year and have made an appearance in the NSIC/US Bank Tournament semi-finals three times.
ABOUT THE OPPONENTvs. AUGUSTANA: The Vikings are 3-1 to start the 2015 season and 1-0 in conference play. Augustana defeated Wayne State last Sunday, Sept. 13, and come into the game as winners of two-in-a-row. Augie was picked to finish third in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll, coming off the best season in team history posting a record of 14-6, (12-3 NSIC), and advancing to the NCAA tournament for the second time in school history.
vs. WAYNESTATE: The Wildcats are 0-2-2 this year, having dropped their last two after starting the year with a pair of ties. Wayne State was selected to finish 15
th in the 2015 Northern Sun Conference Women's Soccer Preseason Coaches' Poll after posting a 3-14-1 overall record last season and a 2-13 mark in the NSIC last year.
