THIS WEEKEND IN PEACOCK VOLLEYBALL... Upper Iowa enters their final weekend of the regular season with matches against the #4 Wildcats of Wayne State College on Friday and the #20 Vikings of Augustana University on Saturday.  The Peacocks will honor their parents on Friday night and their seniors on Saturday.  UIU lost in three sets to both of this weekend's guests when they traveled west earlier in the season.

TWO-TIME ALL-NSIC PERFORMER… The Northern Sun Conference has handed out their Volleyball All-Conference Awards and Jennifer Mundt has been named to the All-NSIC Second Team for the second straight year. Mundt became the all-time leader in career kills at Upper Iowa earlier this season when she knocked down 13 kills at home against the University of Sioux Falls on Oct. 3.  She has continued to pound away at opposing defenses and has 409 kills this season, just 30 short of the program record she set last season.  In her four seasons, Mundt has racked up 1,468 kills.  The Peacock outside hitter is 11th in the country (2nd NSIC) in kills/set with an average of 4.26, while her total kills are ranked 14th nationally (2nd NSIC).  With the addition of her blocks and occasional serves, Mundt scores 4.59 points per set, an amount that ranks 19th across the nation (3rd NSIC).

HONORING THE SENIOR CLASS… Seven seniors will be honored prior to the match on Saturday.  Seniors Tyann Caspers, Sydney Cyzon, Sarah Frisch, Jenna Hermsen, Jennifer Mundt and Taylor Williams, as well as student assistant Brad Sweeney will all be competing in their final matches in Dorman Gym this weekend.  The group has combined for 50 wins over the last four seasons.

LEADING THE WILDCATS... Katie Hughes (340 kills), Leisa McClintock (1,098 assists), Alex Opperman (63 blocks), Courtney VanGroningen (489 digs).

LEADING THE VIKINGS... Dani Magdzas (228 kills), Alex Banker (517 assists), Becca Finley (78 blocks), Tahlyr Banks (513 digs).
