Upper Iowa ended their 2015 season with a 4-0 loss at Minnesota State on Sunday afternoon. The Mavericks scored three first half goals on the way to the win. MSU (16-1-1, 14-0-1 NSIC) clinched their fourth straight Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference regular season championship with the victory. 
Minnesota State got on the board quickly in the first half, scoring within the first five minutes. MSU added goals at the 18:40 and 37:31 marks to take a 3-0 lead into the halftime break. MSU added the final goal of the game with a little more than 15 minutes remaining. 
The Peacocks were shut out but applied pressure throughout the game as they took 14 shots and placed 8 on frame. 
Madie Edwards and 
Jordyn Ostrowski led UIU with 4 shots each, while 
Kaitlyn Emanuel made 13 saves on the day – one shy of her season-high 14. 
UIU concludes the season with a 7-9-2 record and 6-8-1 mark in the NSIC. The Peacocks finished 10th in the conference standings, missing the Northern Sun Conference Tournament for the first time since 2009.
